Tara will assess your mobility via muscle testing and recommend Pilates exercises to help enhance and create a longer sense of ease. This approach enhances equilibrium in the body promoting long-term health in muscle, joints and biomechanics. You will learn how to do Pilates using both the mat-work exercises and the Pilates equipment to include Reformer, Cadillac, chair and barrels.
Hi, I’m Tara, I have been a senior tutor on the Pilates diploma course at www.ntc.ie for 20 years. I am a qualified Neuromuscular therapist and fully certified Stott Pilates Teacher, plus a 200 hr RYS Yoga teacher. I have thousands of hours working in the Pilates Industry, and I have a particular interest in working with clients who have restrictions and postural issues. Many of my clients struggle with aches and pains due to misalignment, whether that’s from working at a desk all day or cycling/running long distances etc. I love to share my wealth of experience that is a unique blend of neuromuscular therapy and Pilates. This blended approach my clients often refer to as a golden nugget that defines their experience and results with me.
